Kootenay Park三日游

Kootenay Park is the 3rd largest national park in the Canadian Rockies, covering over 1,400 square kilometres (540 square miles).  Living in Alberta for almost 26 yrs, and this is the 1st time to visit!



Friday:

Continental Divide(可回程时逗留拍照)
The natural border of Kootenay and Banff, as well as British Columbia and Alberta, the Continental Divide is the main hydrological divider of the Americas.

Stanley Glacier Trail (这次走的希望不大,来日再走吧)
Stanley Glacier Trail is a 10.9 kilometer moderately trafficked out and back trail that features a waterfall and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking and is best used from June until September.

Marble Canyon - Paint Pots Trail
Hike to Paint Pots from Marble Canyon (3 kilometers).

Numa Falls
Numa Falls is a gorgeous waterfall in the midst of the Canadian Rockies. The waterfall itself is a cascade that flows as a part of the Vermilion River, which is in the thick of Kootenay National Park.

Floe Lake
Only accessible by the Floe Lake Trail(19公里rate as hard), this pristine spot is not visited often as it is usually only tackled by experienced hikers. The trailhead, which leaves from the side of Highway 93, is a mountainous hike of over six and a half miles.

Kootenay Valley Viewpoint(拍几张就跑路)
Olive Lake (Short, scenic hike easy to access,30分钟)
Sinclair Canyon (Trail6公里可花2小时走走)
A scenic trail through open Douglas-fir forest along the edge of Sinclair Canyon. Features views of the Columbia Valley and verdant Sinclair Canyon falls.

Radium Hot Springs
泡完温泉吃个德国网红餐去B&B休息-Windermere Lakeside Bed and Breakfast

Saturday:
库园早起欲烧卡,只因咋晚德国餐:)

Whiteswan Lake Provincial Park(走路划船四小时后泡野温泉)

Lussier Hot Springs
The springs are made up of several rock pools with gravel bottoms. The hottest pool is up to 43C, and then the water cools as it flows down through the rest towards the Lussier River.
